Brooklyn College presents composer John Eaton, special guest of the International Electroacoustic Music Festival, April 3rd

The
Composers Forum at Brooklyn College presents John Eaton, special guest of the International
Electroacoustic Music Festival.

On Thursday, April 3rd, at 7PM there will be an hour-long
concert featuring live performances of John's electronic music from the 1960’s and
70’s with performers Sharon Harms, Emily Mills Woodruff, Bonnie McAlvin and Nick Nelson,
as well as a recording of his Concert Piece for Syn-Ket and Symphony Orchestra
and a video of a live performance done on the Eaton-Moog Multiple-Touch-Sensitive
Keyboards.

At noon on April 3rd, John will give a lecture with
recordings of live electronic pieces from his first performances using the Syn-Ket and Moog Synthesizer -- works from the early 1960’s.
