Chamber music of Louis Karchin featured in concert at California Summer Music Festival in Sonoma Valley, July 17th

On Thursday, July 17,
the California Summer Music Festival (July 5-28), in Sonoma Valley will feature Louis Karchin (brief composer residency), with students and faculty of the festival presenting five recent Karchin works: Ricercare, Four Sketches
(both for solo violin), Two Lyrics for solo cello, Lyrics II for piano,
and  Second String Quartet.  The concert is at 8 PM in the Green Music Center of Sonoma State University, in Rohnert Park, CA and admission is free.
