ALIVE, a new piece by David Liptak, will receive its first performance by the Eastman Percussion Ensemble, Eastman Theater (Kilbourn Hall) in Rochester, NY, on Thursday, Feb. 27, David LiptakDavid Liptak2014. It is scored for percussion sextet (3 marimbas, 2 vibraphones, chimes, xylophone) and is about 5 minutes in duration.
