Eleanor Cory new works in performances - May 10th and May 17th

Literary Partners Program presents a program of music for Voice, Violin, and
Cello by composers Eleanor Cory, Lawrence Kramer, John Tavener, and Rain
Worthington which will include settings of poems by Anna Akhmatova, Jean
Kreiling, and Frederich Nietzche, performed by Heidi Hart, Mezzo Soprano, with
the Zentripetal Duo: Lynn Bechtold, violin, and Jennifer DeVore, cello.  The
concert will take place on Saturday, May 10th at 5 PM at Elizabeth Kray Hall at
Poets House
, 10 River Terrace, New York, NY. Admission is free.

     Composers Concordance
presents 'Generations,' which will feature the music of John Clark, Valerie
Coleman, Dan Cooper, a  new Woodwind Quintet by Eleanor Cory, Peter Jarvis,
Christopher Li, Milica Paranosic, Gene Pritsker, and Jeff Scott, among others,
as well as two competition winners: one composer age 25 or younger, and another
composer age 65 or older. Performers include Valerie Coleman, flute; Keve
Wilson, oboe; Michiyo Suzuki,  clarinet;
John Clark, horn, and Damian Primis, bassoon. The concert will
take place on Saturday, May 17th at 8pm at Goddard Riverside's Bernie Wohl
Center, 647 Columbus Avenue,
(between 91st and 92nd Streets), New York, NY.
Admission is free.
