Folie À Deux performs works for two violas at the Wilton Library, Friday, Feb. 21st

Friday, Feb. 21 Connecticut's Own Concert: Folie À Deux, 7 – 8 p.m.  New
York City-based violists Nora Krohn and Nick Revel return to Wilton
Library for their engaging program, Folie à Deux. Nick Revel is a
graduate of Wilton High School and the Eastman School of Music in
Rochester, NY. Nora Krohn, a native of Baltimore, MD and a graduate of
Brown University and SUNY Purchase, plays regularly with the Ridgefield
Symphony, Binghamton Philharmonic, and DiCapo Opera. The duo will be
performing works for two violas, including Violette Op. 40 by John Ferritto. Admission is free, but registration strongly
suggested. Arrive by 6:50 to be sure your reserved seat is available. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road, Wilton;

Nora Krohn and Nick Revel first engaged in Folie À Deux in June
2012 in the living room of their apartment in Queens. The pair has
performed music spanning the Classical to the Contemporary eras in NYC,
CT, and PA. Although the viola duo instrumentation is rare and
repertoire is scarce, Nick and Nora continue their mission of
discovering and performing unheard and unappreciated works. Their goal
is to commission living composers, one day turning the viola duo
delusion into an viable instrumentation.
