Look and Listen festival 2014 in gallery spaces in Brooklyn and Manhattan, April 26-May2.

The Festival opens this year on April 27th at BRIC House, with its first-ever Brooklyn-based bill, hosted by Terrance McKnight and featuring mandolin player Joe Brent, the Meehan/Perkins percussion duo, and Hotel Elefant. Brent plays his own NaNo and an arrangement of Animal Collective’s Summertime Clothes, Todd Meehan and Doug Perkins perform Paul Lansky’s composition Travel Diary, and Hotel Elefant plays Life Cycles: Salt Mound, by John Glover, as well as à cause du soleil – Flow Trio, by Richard Carrick. Additional concerts will feature ICE, the Daedalus Quartet, and Duo Gazzana.
