Music of Brian Schober in concert and on the radio - Jan 20-22, Feb. 14 and Oct. 23-25.

Settlement, 235 East 11th Street, NYC.  If you missed her performance of this work last year, here's your
chance.  In addition, the complete Manhattan Impromptus, recorded by pianist Stephen Gosling in its full concert length version, will be broadcast on Q2 Music which is the
online version of WQXR next Monday through Wednesday of next week (Jan 20-22) on the
program Hammered! a program of contemporary keyboard music hosted by
pianist Conor Hanick. The program runs from 10 - 11AM (EST) each day, The

Also, save the date:  Schober's one-woman opera The White Witch for mezzo soprano and percussion will be
premiered by Christina Ascher and Jared Soldiviero at Symphony Space
located on the corner of Broadway and 95th Street on October 23-25. Schober’s music spans all instrumental and
vocal media.  His
music has been performed by the Gregg Smith Singers, The New York
Treble Singers, Voces Novae et Antiquae, the Kitos Singers, neXus Arts,
Palisades Virtuosi, the percussion ensembles of The Juilliard School,
Mannes School of Music and the University of Buffalo, and the New York
Percussion Quartet.  As a performer
of organ music of all styles and periods, he has toured both the U.S.
and Europe, particularly presenting concerts of new organ music.  He has
also performed with the new music group Speculum Musicae.
