Vocalist Lautaro Mantillaperforming in Voyage 1 Flutist Lindsey Goodman, cellist Dave Eggar, and pianist Eric Moe perform music of Burr Van Nostrand, including the trio Fantasy Manual for Urban Survival; and Anthony Coleman leads the New England Conservatory Chamber Ensemble in Voyage in a White Building 1.
Featuring contemporary music with outstanding visiting artists, Music on the Edge (MOTE) is co-directed by Eric Moe and Mathew Rosenblum.
Music on the Edge (MOTE) presents about six concerts each year
featuring visiting artists as well as the Music on the Edge Chamber
Orchestra, conducted by Roger Zahab. The series is devoted to the
performance of contemporary music by professional musicians.
Recent concerts featured International Contemporary Ensemble, Newband
and the Harry Partch Instruments, grammy nominated cellist Dave Eggar,
and exciting new ensembles such as JACK Quartet.
