Description

Composer's Note:

Anyone Can Play! is an experiment with counterpoint. The piece can be played by any combination of four melodic instruments. The music is written with no clefs. Each performer plays their part using the clef most common to their instrument. The piece sounds different depending on the instruments used: melodies may be altered, and harmonies can vary greatly. The piece is a series of canons in 4 voices. The melodies and harmonies remain consistent no matter what instruments form the ensemble.
