From My Mother's Land ("Bogurodzica")

Composer's Note:

From My Mother’s Land ("Bogurodzica”) (2018) is based on the beloved Polish hymn, Bogurodzica, which originated in medieval times. John Sampen and Marilyn Shrude gave the world premiere on June 2, 2018 at the International Saxophone Festival in Szczecin, Poland. The work is dedicated to Professor Darek Samol.
