Alice Shields Interviewed on Podcast "Unsung Stories: Women at Columbia's Computer Music Center"

The first of two interviews with Alice Shields from a series about women composers at the Columbia-Princeton Electronic Music Center (CPEMC), later the Columbia University Computer Music Center, will be available on April 9, 2021. Shields and Pril Smiley, who were Associate Directors of the CPEMC and were primary instructors there from 1963 on, will be interviewed on a live symposium, along with Daria Semegen, who came to the CPEMC in 1971.
