Featuring a World Premiere performance of "Ancient Echoes" a newly commissioned work for percussion and orchestra by renowned composer and Longmont resident Michael Udow. This World Premiere concerto by Udow will be performed by guest percussionist Anthony Di Sanza, playing on a set of 6,000 year old lithophones discovered by Longmont archaeologist Marilyn Martorano. These Stone Age instruments will be played alongside a modern lithophone and percussion instruments from around the world, with the Longmont Symphony Orchestra. 

In addition, the DuPage Symphony Orchestra (photo above) presented Michael Udow’s The Shattered Mirror Suite, a captivating musical reflection on global mythology, at the "Reflections Concert" on March 19, 2022 at Wentz Concert Hall in Chicago.
