Funding requets should be for live performances of music from the catalog listings on composers.com.
The ACA concert committee will evaluate proposals on an ongoing basis for requests for funding from performers, ensembles, or related organizations that are planning concert(s) containing works from the ACA catalog. This is primarily an award for performers and ACA welcomes proposals from performers and ensembles.
ACA awards of performance funding are for support of performer's fees and would be paid directly to the performer(s) or ensemble, after the award provisions have been met and after the event has been presented. Projects that favor more than one composer are desirable.
As current funding will allow, amounts from $350 to $1,800 may be awarded in support of projects that fulfill the mission of the American Composers Alliance.
Proposals must be received 6 to 12 months in advance of the event date. We are currently taking applications for events taking place after July 1, 2020.

Ensembles or presenting organizations should have an event license or a blanket license from BMI and/or ASCAP in order to publicly perform music. Venues that are rented generally do not supply a license for this purpose.
